Last Monday, P6 were delighted to welcome Dr Cowden from Galgorm Dental to the classroom. He explained what a tooth was made of, what plaque is and how we can prevent it, how we should care for our teeth and we even found out how much sugar was in some of our favourite foods - this surprised us immensely! We want to say a HUGE thank you to him for giving up his day off to talk to us, creating such a fun lesson and giving us such a generous goody bag to take home which will help us keep our teeth sparkling and healthy!
