This week has been Maths Week Ireland. As part of the week P6 have enjoyed playing mathematical games on our class iPads. We played a memory with 2D shapes, Pictoku and a game to help us understand equations.
Additionally, we started work on Data Handling. We created a class database for shoe sizes in the class and whether the person was left or right handed. Then the children created questions for their partner to answer using the information they had gathered. Great fun was had by all as they gathered the information and tried to make the questions difficult for their partner to answer.
