Lately, P6 have been furthering their understanding of the area of measures. We have been looking at weight and length in particular.
Today we divided into small groups and rotated around the different activities.
At one station we had to measure out an amount of liquid, at another we had to weigh objects using scales, at another we had to investigate if we were Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man and lastly we investigated the heights of famous movie stars.
It was lovely to see lots of discussion, teamwork and maths skills on show in the classroom.
