On Monday, Noel from Arc21 came to visit and educate us on how to reduce, reuse and recycle our waste; we even got to 'smell' the landfill site. This tied in with European Week of Waste Reduction!
Each class had a visit and we made a craft using materials that would have gone to landfill! P4 made fantastic Egyptian Headdresses!
As a school we have also been keeping track of how much food compost waste we have collected, how much waste we have stopped from going to landfill and pledged to use refillable water bottles instead of disposable ones! This is all helping us as we work towards our Eco-schools green flag!
