P4 had a special visitor in school today, Mrs Barr! Mrs Barr is our P4 link governor and she came in to class this morning to share some of her knowledge of computers with us. We looked at pictures of the first computer ever invented and how technology has progressed over the years. We loved seeing a video taken recently by Mr Barr who got to ride in a self-driven car and we also got to see a 'Game Boy' which was a games console that Mrs Barr used to play when she was a child. We then spent some time in the computer room, completing a task that involved using code to make a rocket fly around particular planets in space. It was a very busy morning but we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Mrs Barr and learning more about the importance of computers!
