Today P1 found a mysterious footprint in the hall. Who did it belong to? We decided to measure it using multilink cubes to see how big it was. It measured 14 cubes. The children took off their shoes and measured them using the cubes. The footprint didn't belong to any of the children! Mrs McMullan took off her shoe and her shoe measured 16 cubes. So it wasn't Mrs McMullan's footprint. The children decided that the only person left was Miss Cheshire. They asked her to measure her shoe. It was 14 cubes. Miss Cheshire had stepped in the flour!
