This afternoon our classroom was transformed into a Victorian parlour with beautiful tablecloths, fine china and flowers to set the scene. The children embraced every opportunity to practise their Victorian etiquette while sampling some delightful treats and the Victoria sponge we made yesterday. Elegant music and good company served as finishing touches.
